TYPE: Fixed-Term Contract or Casual Position

HOURS: Up to 40 hours per week

LOCATION: Melbourne - West

QUALIFICATION: Conservation & Land Management (or similar) preferred

As a Field Team Member - Environment, you’ll primarily be responsible for the delivery of various Landscaping and Environmental works, including environmental remediation and revegetation, urban reserve and wetland planting and establishment, environmental and sensitive (WSUD) weed control, and other related tasks as required.

Main Duties:

  • Environmental weed control and management

  • Sensitive weed control (WSUD maintenance)

  • Revegetation site preparation and planting

  • Offset site preparation and planting

  • Urban reserve and wetland planting and establishment

  • Other field duties as required

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders where required


If you have a Natural Resource Management or Conservation and Land Management qualification with at least one year of field experience, we'd love to hear from you. We're particularly keen to meet people with the following personal attributes:

To be considered for this role, you'll also need the following: ​

  • Construction White Card

  • Chemical Users Certificate

  • First Aid Level II

  • Current Driver’s License and reliable transport

  • Proof of Coronavirus Vaccination

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Conservation & Land Management, Natural Resource Management or similar is preferred, however all experience levels are encouraged to apply

  • Chainsaw experience would be an advantage
